What we display
topdoc is a directory of family doctors built from publicly accessible sources: the HCI/Refdata register (GLN, name, status, address), the FMH register (specialist titles), Onedoc (booking and practice details) and Google (reviews). Every block names its source.
Google reviews
Stars and reviews come from Google Maps (Places API) and are always shown with attribution. We archive them permanently and state, for each review, the date we last confirmed it with Google. As a result we also show reviews that Google no longer lists among its own top five. If a review is removed on Google, we drop it as soon as our nightly reconciliation detects this; that detection is not gap-free. For immediate removal, a message to mail@topdoc.ch is enough.
Maps
Maps are rendered via swisstopo (map.geo.admin.ch). Loading map tiles transmits your IP address to swisstopo.
No accounts, no tracking
topdoc uses no user accounts, no analytics trackers and no advertising cookies. Only your language choice (cookie) and technical settings (localStorage) are stored on your device.
Rights of the doctors listed
The directory rests on Art. 30 para. 3 FADP: personal data that the data subject has made generally accessible and whose processing they have not expressly prohibited. You may expressly prohibit the processing at any time — we then remove your profile from the directory. You can also correct or complete it via »Claim profile« on your profile page (HIN-verified) or contact us directly: mail@topdoc.ch, handled without delay and at the latest within 30 days. Rights of access, rectification and erasure under the FADP/nFADP remain unaffected.
